BIG SURPRISED!!

•May 14, 2008 • 1 Comment
You’re getting one year older today. But in my eyes (maybe in everyone’s eyes), you are the youngest and the most active teacher I’ve ever seen. You will stay your youth and vitality even if you are older. When the first time I was in your class, I thought that why did this teacher talk so fast? Is she anxious? Did she have a busy schedule? After I became your assistant, I found that you are the most hard-working teacher I’ve ever seen. You are even more hard-working than students. Every time I sit in your class, I felt embarrassed. Because I knew that you prepared a lot for the class but I didn’t. Being your assistant, I feel sorry about it. I always forgot whatever you had me do. You prepared for the class whole heartedly, but I always lost something and made your schedule delayed. I feel so sorry about that. I admire you that you enrich your life in your university life. You got lots of chances to go traveling around the world to broaden your knowledge for global culture. I wish to have a chance like that but it seems impossible. I’m going to enter a university (I don’t know which one) now. I won’t forget such a nice and hard-working English teacher in my senior high school.

The beautiful lake in Nei-hu

•April 15, 2008 • Leave a Comment

Driving on Cheng-Kong Road, take a look on your left-hand-side, you will see a clean and wide lake, Da Hu. Near this lake is a mountain called Egret Mountain. There are flocks of egret flying from the mountain and stop on the floating wood for eating. It looks like thousands of arrows shoot from the mountain to the lake. It’s so spectacular.

There’s a pavilion situated on the lake. You can have a picnic or BBQ at this summer-house appreciating the beautiful and spectacular scenery and eating the delicacy. There is no more enjoyable Nan gun Shi Lin leisure like that. Beside this lake, there is a park. In the morning, many elderly people take a walk in the park and chat with each other. There’s also a swimming pool and some simple facilities here. It’s really a nice place for you to enjoy your life when you are retired.

When you pass by this lake nowadays, you will find the lake with no water. Because of the mud under the water, the government drains the water out and cleans the mud under the lake. Thus, it won’t be as beautiful as it was before.

strange dream

In the English class last week, Mr. Lin was teaching an English song called” We are the world”. It was an old song which made me bored. Ten minutes later, I saw a strange scene. I felt as light as a feather. And then I felt as if I were flying and floating into Mr. Lin’s body. What was wrong with me! It was so strange and terrible.

Then, I was teaching in front of many students. I became a teacher and I found that was much older. I checked the date. Oh! My goodness! It was twenty years from today. I realized that I was a teacher but all the students were sleeping in class. I was a bad teacher. I knew that I became a teacher because I had no money. I couldn’t find any job because I only graduated from senior high school. I didn’t enter any college. I felt regret. If I had studied hard before I wouldn’t be like this today. Suddenly, I flew and floated. It happened again as if it had happened before. After that, I woke up. Mr. Lin was calling me to wake up. I fell asleep and that was a dream. I was glad and I swore that I will study harder from now on.

The story of a boy and a dog

tmp4.jpgIn the morning, the noise in the living room was loud enough to wake John up. He woke up and went to the living room, all of his family said “Happy Birthday” to John. He finally knew that today was his tenth birth day. He quickly ran to open the biggest present on the table because he was so happy. After he opened it, a lovely dog jumped out and licked John’s face. He was so surprised and thanked his mom who bought this dog for. And then he brought it out for playing together. John took the dog to the park and then he sat on the bench to rest for a second. John fell asleep because he woke up too early today. After he was awake, he found the dog was gone. He was so nervous that he ran around the park many times to find it. Sadly. He couldn’t find it. He was sad and went home with tears. When he got home, he couldn’t believe what he saw. The dog sat in front of the house as if it had already gone home for a long time. John happily went up and held the dog in his chest tightly. He told the dog that he wouldn’t leave it alone next time.

Little girl and kitties

cats3.jpgKelly was a five-year-old girl. She hated everything in the world including her pets, some kitties. One day, the kitties were playing in the living room as usual but they broke almost everything in the house. Kelly couldn’t stand anymore and then she came up with an idea.

In the afternoon, Kelly asked her mom if she could take the kitties for a walk and her mom agreed. Thus, she carried each of the kitties out of her house and they followed her. However, Kelly smiled evilly on the way to the park where she always played with the kitties. Kelly stopped at the park and took out a ball. Then, the kitties started to play it. Suddenly, Kelly stood up and sneaked away quickly but the kitties didn’t notice that. When they found Kelly disappear, they had already been deserted.

A strict but influencial man in my life

The first time you see this man you may think he is humorous from his look. But he is really a man with his own thoughts. He’s my father Leo. He is strict with us. Every time I get good grades or rewards, he always says, “Oh! And then? ” or ” Maybe you can do better next time.” At that time, I thought that he didn’t care about me.

My father accompanied me when I took the entrance exam for high school. I walked together with my father. When we reached the classroom where I was to take the test, I found my classmates chatting together, twenty minutes before the test. They saw me and then came to cheer for me, which lured me o chat with them but my father quickly pulled me away to a quiet place for studying. He told me, “It is hypocritical to live under others’ applause.” Then I realized that studying diligently is not to live up to someone’s expectation but for my own success in the future. After that, I found my father a great philosopher. Every sentence he said inspired me a lot. What my father has said will keep ringing in my ears and sustain me through trials in life.

A short time in summer vacation

•September 29, 2007 • 2 Comments

This summer vacation, I went to Maokong to take the cable car with my family. First, we took the MRT to Muzha station and then we walked to the cable car station. There were lots of people so we had to line up first. It was quite hot in the cable car because of lacking of the air conditioner. As we reached the terminal station which was in a mountain, we chose a restaurant to eat lunch.

The most memorable thing was eating in the mountain. We reached the restaurant in the afternoon so it was cool and relaxed. After we ordered some food, we sat on the bamboo chair and enjoyed the most comfortable wind blowing softly around our body. As we almost fell asleep, the food was served. It smelled good and the vegetable in the mountain was so crunchy and juicy. After we finished lunch, we took a nap at the restaurant. Later, we went back home. It was a short but wonderful time in the summer.

Afternoon’s surprise

On Sunday afternoon, Mary was cooking in the kitchen. She was cooking Italian meatballs which were her husband’s favorite. Her dog, Flash, was waiting behind her because it was attracted by the smells of the meatballs.

A few minutes later, Mary finished the meatballs and she wanted to set the table. After she turned around, she saw the most terrible thing in her life. There was a creature which had lots of black fur on its body. The creature had strong arms which could tear a human’s neck. It was a gorilla! Mary was so scared that she dropped the plate full of meatballs on the floor. But it seemed that “Flash” wasn’t scared at all and it was eating the meatballs on the floor.

After the shock, Mary saw the gorilla begin to break its own neck. Mary was too scares to breathe. After the gorilla tore off its head, a handsome man’s head emerged on the gorilla’s neck. It was Simpson! He is Mary’s husband. Simpson brought a bunch of flowers to Mary and said,” Happy Valentine’s Day!” Mary then remembered that it was Valentine’s Day and smiled sweetly at Simpson.
